Well,today was rather depressing.. At least for the flag day event. This morning woke up feeling rather happy then had some family time at the Singapore Flyer. After that rushed off the QMSC to get ready for the flag day. Keith,Kenneth,Charis,Pamela,Latonia,Yan Ru and I all left for Holland Village(as suggested by Mr Chan). Have to say,the people there were ratehr nice. A few donators came and donated without us even asking. :) That kinda boosted our little confidence and made us strive to get more money for QMSC for the elderlies. But most of the donators donated only because of the kids who wanted the little stickers. Haha. So cute. Then at aout 3 we left for Maxwell Market Place. Pam said she went there last year and got quite a lot of donations. So we took 196 there and went to Mawell. Felt so sleepy and everyone had a nice rest on the bus. Then when we reached Keith,Kenneth and I went off to the Chinatown area,the one near the pretty giant temple. Not alot of people donated,only 3 people donated if I'm not wrong. All three of us were so demoralized that we actually didn't quite bother asking the people to donate. But we still tried,we gave it a shot at the MRT station there.Once again,I only got 2 people to donate. How pathetic. I was just about to give up with Keith and Kenneth came and said the best thing to do now is either give up or to go somewhere else. So in the end we went to Clementi. Went to their new shopping mall,the 2 of them went to find Irene for donation. LOL. Then went to the little area up front,a little like a plaza and started to "beg" for donation. Not too bad la. Things got slightly better there. A lot more people were willing to donate. First few donated really made our day. So cute. Keith and I were "re-sticking" our tins with stickers,easier for donators to take. We were just getting ready to ask for donation when this little girl walked up to us with a 50cent coin and donated to Keith. Well,I kinda pointed at him so she gave him. :) Then the brother came with another 50cents and gave it to Keith. &the youngest of them all,she seriously made up cheer up. So cute! The daddy gave her 50cents also and asked her to put it into the tin,Keith bent down so she could drop the coin in. She hesitated abit don't know want to give or not. In the end she decided not to. Then the mummy ask me to try. She also hesitated,want to give then decide not to. Then I say "I give you 2 stickers,you five me your money." The mummy laughed man. Hahaha. Then they all say bye-bye. The little girl uber cute,the mummy say "smile and say bye!" She smiled her sweetest smile and we all laughed and went AWWWWWW! Hahaha. That was the only thing that brightened up our day la. Lol. Then we got serious and really started to get more donation. We kept trying until 5.30+ and along the way we saw Stella. Learnt that she gave back the tin at about 4+ I think. Tsk tsk. Then after that went back to find Irene. Hahaha. OKay,Keith and Kenneth did. I just stood one side and watched them talk to the guy tending the store adn took a look at their PSP accessories. :) Maybe one day will go there and personalize my PSP. Hahaha. Mine is the same as my sis's one. :( Don't like,want to be different. Haha. Then took the MRT back to QMSC and gave back the tins. Wooooh! We were freeeeee~! Haha. Then waited for daddy to come. Lol. Keith actually offered to stay back and wait with me but I said it was okay,my daddy was going to take awhile. So he and Kenneth headed back to the MRT station and went home. LOL. When daddy came,we went to Novena for dinner and Fish and Co. Woooh. So going to get fat mann. Better exercise during the hols. Thinking of going swimming in the mornig or maybe go running. :) Speaking of running,I realized I'm more of a sprinter than a long-distance runner. Tsk. No wonder I can never pass my 2.4. My Shuttle-run still okay,not too bad. Hahaha! Shall train myself during the hols. Lol. OKay,I think this is long enough. Gosh. Shall end here now. Buh byeeee~!
